Epoxy HB Coating - 5kg Unit

Standard: Usally delivered within 3 - 5 working days.

For medium duty areas requiring an easy to clean, tough and durable coating with excellent chemical resistance.

Primary surfaces: Coatings can be applied over Concrete, Screed and other existing Resin Floors but all surfaces must be prepared properly.

Alternative surfaces: Epoxy HB Coating could be applied to other surfaces such as timber mezzanines as long as the surface is sound, has a good mechanical key for the coating to bond to and is clean.

If coatings are applied to any alternative surfaces the data in the TDS will not apply.

Typical Application Rate = 0.5kg per meter for two coats.

A 5kg Unit will cover approximately 20m2 per coat.

Remember to order an Even Number of Units for Two Coats.

Example:

A Double Garage is around 36m2  

36m2 x 0.5kg/m2 =18 kg

18kg / 5kg Unit = 3.6 Units Round up to the nearest Unit = 4 Units

Please note, the first coat will use more material than the second coat, absorbent surfaces will use more material in all.

Mix using a small to medium size paddle attachment for a hand held drill such as our Paint Mixer 80mm

The coating is approximately 0.6mm thick when applied correctly over two coats.

Apply by;

• Brush - Cutting in around edges

• Roller - 1 - 400m2

• Squeegee - Large open areas 400m2 +
